FAQ's

My Mission Statement

To create beautiful imagery that resonates with you and exceeds your expectations.

Coverage

My pricing for each wedding package includes up to 10 hours of coverage. It’s your wedding, it happens once, and you shouldn’t have to worry about anything other than having an amazing experience. 10 hours is more than sufficient to cover all the angles and be there for every moment.

Consultation

Leading up to the ceremony, I am always at your disposal. We can talk about logistics for the day of, create some fun ideas, and address any other questions you may have. I stress spending at least one afternoon or evening together aside from our initial meeting (this means you too groom!). We can take photos via an Engagement Session, or just have a glass of wine, but the more comfortable we are with each other, the more amazing the photos will be. I guarantee it.

When Can I See My Photos?

Once the wedding is over, you'll look back and ask, What happened? Luckily, within 4-6 weeks after your wedding, I publish a private image viewing gallery where you can browse through your photos, share via Facebook and email, and place print orders safely and securely. A typical wedding averages about 1000-1200 finished photos.

Hand-Made

I am all about personal touch. In my studio, I do all of my own printing, matting, and framing. That means that quality control is second to none! It means I am slaving away to create the perfect print for you, my amazing client! It means I hand-cut the matboard, chop and staple all the materials for your frames, and seal them without the slightest speck of visible dust ! What does it all mean?

It means that you own Real Art.

All of my work is hand-made, created with love, and built to last. Each piece is a one of a kind, and all materials are archival.

Portfolio Box

Beautifully hand-crafted, and wrapped in silk linen of your choosing, the Portfolio Box is created locally by a Bay Area bookbinder, and designed specifically to house your matted images. Inside this hearty, timeless, and classic family heirloom will reside your custom, hand-mounted wedding photos. Ready to be passed down from generation to generation, it's the perfect combination of love and art for the start of your new family.

Albums

I also offer albums by Renaissance Albums. Their workmanship is excellent, and I feel they provide a more contemporary vibe for those seeking something a bit different. I offer three book selections - The Soho, Fine Art, and Galleria - and personally design the layout. Cruise on over and take a look.

Custom Packages

If you find yourself needing something more personalized, don't hesitate to give me a call to inquire and set up a meeting.

Equipment

All my equipment is top level pro gear. I happen to shoot Nikon. I photograph with full-frame D3 bodies and have too many lenses to name. They are all pro level glass. I shoot mainly with prime lenses (a single focal length, i.e. 85mm). Their shallow depth of field and amazing low light performance can't be beat. If you like soft and dreamy backgrounds, then I am your man :)

What Format Do You Shoot In?

I shoot in RAW format. It allows for a wider range of possibilities in post production. Every photo is re-touched and adjusted in one way or another. Typical adjustments are color correction (white balance), exposure compensation, and tone. Some of the best photos will have skin softened and blemishes removed.

I am sure you have more questions to ask. If that's the case, don't hesitate to call and book an appointment to meet. Don't wait too long - 2012 is filling up fast! - and I only take a limited amount of weddings each year.

Sincerely,

Todd
